Being sick stinks…. I knew it was coming earlier in the week so I forced a run that wasn’t all that fun on Monday. On Wednesday I managed to remain upright through my power training class at elevate cycles. But on Thursday I had to throw in the towel and admit defeat.
I’m sick. It is what it is. I even went to on-call to find out I have bronchitis and there is nothing they can give me or do. Well, they did give me some codeine enhanced cough syrup for bedtime. Sweet dreams Irene. I got some solid sleep last night and while I’m still not out of the woods I’m starting to feel a tiny bit better. Or at least I’m not positive that I’m going to puncture a lung coughing today.
I miss training…. Yes, miss. I miss feeling healthy and strong. This had better be short-lived or I will go insane. What do you do to stay sane when you’re sick and can’t get your sweat on? I need ideas people!
