A {Fall} Hike

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to meet up and catch up with a great old friend.  No, she’s not old.  Rather we’ve been friends for some time.  We did the catching up, getting dinner, etc thing on Saturday.  On Sunday we woke up to a beautiful day and decided to take out chit-chat out doors and hike Mount Beacon.  It’s a short hike, but well worth the effort for the views! Rather than bore you with the details, I’ll share with you the pictures.  Yesterday was a truly a beautiful day to be outside!

Also very interesting is the old “incline” up on the mountain.  I knew nothing about this until we happened upon it.  There are beautiful views from here, but the structure itself makes for some wonderful picture taking.

All in all, it was a fantastic day.  We wrapped up our visit with some really yummy food.  I couldn’t have played it out much better! I love great fall hikes.
