{Window Wednesday} Lake Placid

Training is hard.  I’m not going to pretend it’s not.  But some days it just clicks.  But some days I really look around when I’m training… and I see how beautiful the world is.  And I want to soak it all in.  The beauty in nature is incredible.  So when I’m pushing a long training day, I try to disconnect from the rest of the world and just enjoy being outside and being alive.  Days like this…

“Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.”
Kahlil Gibran
