One – It’s a recovery week. Wahoo! Every four weeks in the training plan I get a “recovery week.” This doesn’t mean that I get to rest all week …. bummer, I know. But it does mean that the training plan is lighter. This week only consists of approximately 8 hours of training. Only two bikes, two swims and three runs. Ah, I smiled when I opened the plan for the week. Maybe a little sigh of relief? Who knows, but I’m going to enjoy it for what it’s worth because I know that next week will come back bigger and harder in the next build phase.
Time to sit back and kick my feet up…. Ha, ha, ha!
Two – C-man started T-ball last night. It’s hysterical. A group of four-year olds trying to do anything together is always funny. The kids were pretty good, but very distracted. Kicking in the mud, playing with the grass, etc. At one juncture C was staring off into the trees. When asked what he was doing he pointed out that the moon was still out and it was watching him play t-ball?! Good observation kiddo, but you might want to pay attention to the balls being hit and thrown in your direction. Oh how I love it and can’t wait to see how the season goes!
