Did I say this before? Well if I did, I was only kidding. This weekend will be the last really long run leading up to Disney. I think the training plan originally called for 18 miles, but it’s getting switched to a 20 miler because we’ve only logged one thus far. I think I need it mentally. I need to finish feeling strong so I remember that feeling come race day when I have to complete another 10k after 20 miles.
So the plan this time is to run flat. No ridiculously hilly 20 miler on tap for this girl. I’ll be hitting up the bike path for a solid run. This of course will be after running the Albany Last Run 5K on Saturday night. I love this race and ran it last year as well. I’m looking forward to the fireworks, running through the lights in that park and maybe, just maybe setting a new PR before I close the books on 2011.

And after 20 miles of all of that, I think I might be up for a little of this.
